The New Year that started badly got worse. A supremely big
hole has opened up where a supremely important presence used to reside, and a
void as big as that can be even more chilling than the presence was powerful.
Hence, for anyone who might be interested, why the blog has gone
on temporary hiatus. I’ve no doubt I’ll be back.
