My computer mouse just started to
have bouts of behaving oddly. It was being slow, unresponsive and… how can I
put it? Undirectional. Had I been greatly given to fanciful notions, I might
have suspected that it was suffering occasional waves of nausea or dizziness or
both.
‘Oh no,’ thinks I, ‘not something
else breaking down or suffering some level of malfunction. That will be number
eight on the growing inventory. Or could it be a problem with the new computer?’
I took the mouse mat away. It was
only there because it was black and decorative anyway. Optical mice don’t need
a mouse mat, do they?
The dear little mouse appears to
be feeling better. For the time being.
