How many times do I start writing a blog post, only to
realise that I’m opening a topic which is far too big and complex for such a
restricted medium? Today’s example began:
‘It only really sunk in today that the despoilment of the
natural environment began when humans started farming.’
I followed it through in my mind and ended up falling into
that bottomless pit:
‘Why are we here?’
So forget that one.
