Star(s) Watching.

The night sky was AMAZING! tonight. (Seems I’ve still got Catherine Bush on the brain.) I stared and stared at the stars and actually felt half inclined to count them, but although I get the occasional hint of mild OCD, I have enough self-control not to take on a job that size. I’d never get my hot chocolate, would I?

What I’m finding interesting is seeing Venus and Jupiter changing their relative positions as their respective orbits progress. A couple of weeks ago, Jupiter was much higher – almost directly above Venus. But he’s fallen, bit by bit, day by day, and now they’re almost alongside one another. They look like two eyes watching me from the western sky. All the way from America?
