I could cite several examples from my life when I was on the
verge of giving up, but didn’t. I carried on, only to find that the enemy – be it
a person or situation – had given up instead, and I’d won.
Lately I’ve been on the verge of giving up on the future,
but tonight I received an e-mail that turned my life on its head. It seems
there’s no giving up for me yet. There’s still a cause to be served – the purest
sort.
