Another Small Note on Mortality.

Do you know what bothers me? It bothers me that when a person dies, everybody else carries on. It seems a little unfair, somehow.

I do realise that this is not only an ego-centric perception, but is also missing the point. I’m so glad that I’ve believed in some form of reincarnation for the past twenty years. The details have changed – become more refined, maybe – but a belief in the central thread of prospective survival has grown stronger.
