The Best Thing About Barley...

I used to hang the art exhibitions at the theatre where I worked, and I was known for my insistence on getting all the pictures absolutely dead level! I took a lot of time over it. I did.

Well, now I do the same in my kitchen with the bread board, which stands against a wall and has to be spot-on in line with the chopping board. The best time to do it is when I’m just about to have my first scotch of the night, because then I get impatient and feel more inclined to say ‘oh, **** it, that’ll do.’ Which just goes to prove how efficacious whisky is as a cure for OCD.
