Tonight’s Dracula
update:
The kids living in the vicinity of Highgate Cemetery
are staying out late and coming home with bite marks on their necks. This was a
common enough occurrence when I was a teenager – though not in my case, of
course – but since the late-and-nearly-later Lucy now resides in that very
location, I think we’re meant to draw a darker inference.
Apart from that, nothing much is happening at the moment,
and Van Helsing’s somewhat unconventional syntax is becoming ever more difficult to decipher.
I will persevere.
