Illustrating the Point.

Bob Diamond, the former CEO of Barclays Bank who was forced to resign over the rate-rigging scandal, has voluntarily given up the £20m in bonuses to which he is technically entitled. He’ll still get his £2m salary, but it appears he can survive without the rest.

So, what was I saying about the London charity that needs £1m to feed hungry children? Seems we don’t need Robin Hood back after all. Barclays can just hand the money over now, can’t they? Can’t they?

Don't you think they will, then? Gosh, you're cynical today!
