Late.

My garden has a blackbird and a dunnock both feeding young offspring who are following them around, and there’s a nuthatch still taking food to a nest somewhere. That’s about a month later than you’d normally expect to see such activity. It’s all due to the jetstream being too far south, apparently, but the forecasters are saying that summer might start somewhere around the end of the month. And the temperature did manage to climb into the 60s today, even though the lane beyond the garden has turned into a river again.
