Visitors.

There I was, flicking through the internet channels as it were, when I swear I felt the desk move three times. It was so distinct, and felt like somebody (something?) was trying to attract my attention. And I swear it’s the little folk who keep on setting my neighbour’s dogs a-barking, because I sure as hell can’t see anything. I wish they'd pack it in.

No, I haven't had a drink yet. Except tea. Alcohol in ten seconds.

Do you remember my blog post about strange things happening at my parents house? I mentioned that once when i lived with them i was out reading on the porch and someone turned the light off so i went inside to turn it back on and asked my parents why they switched it off... they both said that they didn't do it. The switch was off and no one had touched it. The first thing that happened to me there was a strange voice i heard on night. I even got up to see who it was but everyone was asleep. Well, i stayed there with them on Sunday night and Liam and i were laying in bed, (he'd been asleep for a while and i'd just layed down with my back facing the outer edge) and i felt someone touch my back... like fingers going along my spine. I rolled over onto my back and just layed there and then got up to turn the light on and make sure there were no giant bugs on me. There was nothing there. It was very strange. On another night about a week before we were there and Liam was in a little cradle by the bed. I decided to check on him so i pushed a button on my cell phone so that the screen would light up and i could see and the bottom of the sleeper was moved from where i'd put it and it was rocking a little but he was lying very still. I don't think it was little people. I'm not sure what's going on in their house.

Blimey, Andrea! You seem to attract these things like I do, probably even more so. Although it sounds like the problem at your parent's house belongs to the house itself. Mine tend to follow me around.

I don't think we should ever meet. I suspect they might make the result into a movie. Combined energies like that? Poltergeist 4 at least!

HAHA! My grandmother lived in several haunted houses throughout her life and i grew up listening to her stories. I now think it was she who was haunted, or, most likely, highly sensitive to such things. She, my mother and i are all very intuitive. Especially my mom. I hadn't smoked in a year and hadn't drank alcohol in well over a year and a week or so ago i had a glass of wine and a cigarette... the next day i was talking to my mom on the phone and she said, "You haven't started smoking again, have you?" All i said is "Why would you ask methat!?" hehe.

Try to stay north of the Bible Belt, won't you? Those fundamentalists like to see sensitive women smoking!
