It’s the time of year when millions of people all over the
world are singing Christmas carols. And every year at this time, I wonder what
those carols mean to those singers. How many people see the songs as just part
of the ornamentation of the season, and how many consciously consider the meaning
of the words they’re singing. And of the latter, how many actually believe it.
