Work and the Modern World.

Circumstances encouraged a bit of musing this morning on the way in which the modern world breaks things. It breaks people, and then puts the fractured pieces back where it wants them. It breaks relationships, and pushes the core values of human life out to the periphery. It makes a bully out of work and career.

And now it’s brought us to the point where people are worried sick that there isn’t enough work to go around. The modern world has been unconsciously destroying the balance for decades, and now we don’t know where we are.

Seems ironic to me.
