Depressed but Discerning.

There’s a character in an Agatha Christie story – a Colonel Something-or-Other, as I recall – who likes to go and watch the pigs when he gets depressed. I prefer painting and polishing things. And that’s why I did some painting in my office today.

So now my office smells of drying paint, which is rather better than cat pee, boiling broccoli, baked fish, garlic, Channel No 9, or chemical air fresheners.

And what exactly did you paint, Mr. Beazley? Do show!

I'm painting, myself again! So I'm really happy. Again! haha but I'm having trouble with getting the right effects and whatnot, besides, I always get stains on my hands and then stain everything around me because I'm such a novice ; A ;

Also, Channel No. 9 sounds pretty nice, is it not..?

A window frame and a door frame. White - me being of minimalist persuasion (and white paint being cheapest.)

Does this mean we're going to have some Orphin art on your blog? You're much too good an artist to be an engineer, you know. You should starve in a garret while mending your own plumbing. 'Come up and see my pictures, mister. I'm not so far through as a bus ticket, but at least my taps don't drip.'

As for the smell, Channel No 9 was the definitive posh scent when I was young enough to care. These days I prefer the smell of muck spreading. Eau-de-Cow-Dung. Yeah.

You now you're weird, don't you? You're going to be hell to live with.
