Kate.

I think it's about time I posted some more music. Kate Bush and I virtually grew up together, and I don't understand how I got to be this age without realising what an extraordinary talent she has.

It's worth reading the lyrics posted below the video. They include the poem written and recited by her brother.

I love Kate! I've never seen this video before so thanks for a nice gift...

There's another video to accompany this song which is more powerful and scattered with symbolic imagery, including some wonderful shots of crows in flight. It's here:

I also now realise that you have to go to YouTube to read the lyrics and poem.

And i love this song. Once i played it on the juke box in a bar full of drunken rednecks. They didn't seem to appreciate it and one said it was like 'a fag's Riverdance music.' Nice. I didn't think it would go over very well but i'd had just enough beer to not care.

Should I applaud your taste in music, congratulate you on your courage, or deplore your taste in bars? All three, I suppose.
