Resumption.

Since the days are growing noticeably shorter now, I resumed my night walks tonight. It’s the first time I’ve walked along Mill Lane since the inscrutable and incomparable Lady B took a holiday in Egypt with the normal people. My, how the hedgerows have grown in the interim.

The Lady B’s house is still there, and still occupied if the evidence of lighted windows is to be believed. Whether or not the occupants still include the Lady B, I have no way of knowing.
