Very beautiful music. I've heard this instrument before but had never seen it or seen it being played until this video. Liam seemed a little frightened of it though, and even bit me while trying to get away. I'm starting to question his taste in music... earlier he was dancing to some trance style music that was on Sponge Bob Square Pants.
Sounds like you've got a Good Ol' Boy in the making there, Andrea. (Actually, being frightened of erhu music suggests a high degree of sensitivity. There is something a bit eerie about it.)
My excuse for liking Chinese music is that my first love was Tiger Lily, the mandarin's daughter in the Rupert Bear comics. We didn't have a TV when I was Liam's age. (They had been invented, though. Honest.)
