Why should America - or anybody else for that matter - have control of the internet?
Wouldn't it be better to have an independent Internet Steering Organisation, comprising one member from each of the world's countries? Then we'd have an Internet United Nations. We'd just have to make sure that there was no such thing as a Security Council, because look how much the current Bunch of Five is screwing up any hope of helping the poor Syrians.
