The Untenable Logic of Humility.

I’ve long been convinced of the axiom that he who strives to serve is innately superior to he who strives to rule. And this produces the curious little irony that true humility (not the fawning sort) is the most superior of positions. Which further means that the truly humble person must strive to convince himself of an untruth.
