Red Letter Day.

I got a comprehensive and intelligible explanation from somebody called Paloma M at Lulu.com today, in response to one of my latest queries. This is unprecedented, so I wrote back with a heartfelt 'thank you.'

Seems it was all Della's fault for not receiving the book she ordered.

Ha, really?

Yes, as I thought. I got a second 'Zero Creator Revenue' sale show up, even though I'd only ordered one book. I guessed the second was probably the 'replacement' they'd sent you.

Oh, no. So, did you ever receive any royalties for my first order? It was processed 1 May and "sent out" 3 May – I have a credit card receipt. Let me know, Jeff.

Don't worry, Della. Your first order is on the royalty account. Thing is, I set the profit so low that I'll have to sell several more copies yet before I reach the minimum remittance figure. About £5, I think. Big bucks!
