is bothering me. I think China
and Russia are
bothering me more. How the hell could they apply that veto? Why does politics
have to be about the pursuit of power and position at the expense of preserving
people?

Yikes,Jeff, middle east! Hmmm, I have fairly strong opinions about this. It seems that there is a bit of outside dabbling going on. A destabilising of countries in an oil rich zone, allies of Iran, Egypt Libiya, Syria. Gadaffi was well and good while weapons were being traded as is the same with other dictators, convenient as they are at times. As soon as they are no longer useful names are called, in wing the angels of destruction oops mercy and all is well in the world again.Or so they would have us believe. Now it's Syria, what I want to know is when is Israel going to get a wake up call. Seems the one eyed giant is looking the other way, of course...
Yes, I was going to go down the line of 'why only Gadaffi?' I asked that question before.
