The Boxer.

I’d forgotten until today what an incredible piece of work Simon and Garfunkel’s The Boxer is. Combining such a high level of both poetry and musicianship in a popular song is rare indeed . There was a time when I thought it ‘my song.’ Although life looks more complicated than it did in those days, I think it still is to some extent.

I’m going to try adding it to my playlist later, see whether ‘content owner has disabled embedding.’ Do look out for it. It’s a special song. And it doesn’t say much for New York.
