Weird Google.

Would everybody please do me a favour. Scroll down four posts to ‘A Question of Sarah,' and tell me what it contains that could possibly lead Google to return it for the search term sexteen69, which Feedjit tells me it has done. What? Tell me, because I’m blowed if I know.

Several months ago there were some visits to my blog from similar strange phrases and according to Feedjit the visitors were coming to my blog via a very adult dating site. It really bothered me because i was afraid that someone had created a fake profile on the site with my info and a link to my blog. Alex, who is amazing with computers and internet knowledge, etc., told me about something called Spiders or webcrawlers that search engines use to gather data about various websites. That may be the case here. I don't really know enough about it to say, but that is what he thinks it may be.

There's a disturbing side to the web, isn't there? A fake, fraudulent, intrusive side. It bothers me sometimes that I've come to rely on it so much over the last few years. And isn't that true of so many people now?

Its true of me. Especially now that i'm home with Liam all of the time. I often feel like its my only way of socializing with the rest of the world. I have a facebook account and i have a love hate relationship with that site. I'm always saying i'm going to delete my account and then never do. When we were without internet for a while i felt very disconnected from the rest of the world. Something i don't like to admit.

Thank you, Andrea. I think I'll make that little blog post now.
