I just read the following headline on my Yahoo Mail page:
Manhunt after NY woman
burned alive in lift
I didn’t read the report, obviously. What would be the
point? I feel the human condition too keenly. When I read a headline like
that - and plenty of others, I might add - it takes some effort just to keep myself from slipping over the edge.
