Reptilian Semantics.

I heard it said recently that there are only two species of poisonous snake in the world.

Never?

Yup, that’s because, technically speaking, a poisonous snake is one that would poison you if you ate it. A snake that is capable of injecting venom is correctly called a venomous snake.

Hope is fading fast.

I think that’s it for today.

Thank you, Mei-shan. It's odd what crosses your mind at 1.30 in the morning.

1.30 AM of October 1st (Saturday night my time) I was sleeping.

1.20 PM of October 2nd (Sunday afternoon) I was chatting online.

I am not sure which one you mentioned.

My mistake. It's common in English vernacular to use 'your' as a generality when the more accurate 'my mind' or 'one's mind' would be more correct.

I was referring to what goes through MY mind at 1.30 in the morning.
