Illusion and Delusion.

I was considering today the difference between illusion and delusion. Clearly, illusion is when something isn’t what it appears to be, and delusion is when something isn’t what you think it is. There’s a difference. And it seemed to me that illusion is generally harmless as long as you don’t see through it, whereas delusion is almost always damaging. Until, that is, you begin to suspect that damage is in itself an illusion.
