A Little Moan about Experts.

The type of expert I like is the type who knows more about a subject than almost anybody else, but is the first to admit that he doesn’t know everything. The type of expert I dislike is the type who knows a little about a subject, but thinks he knows it all. Such experts usually assume an air of superiority, which is more than a little galling at the best of times, and doubly so when it becomes apparent that said expert knows less about the subject at hand than I do. Internet forums are full of them, which is why I have very little to do with internet forums.
