Vindicating the Suspicions.

Over the past few years we’ve had many stories of troops committing atrocities, the police manufacturing evidence, politicians and the media conniving against the public interest in favour of their own, wholesale child abuse in the Church, teachers being prosecuted for accessing child pornography… not to mention a Prime Minister blatantly lying to Parliament to obtain a vote in favour of going to war, and then sacking the whistle blowers instead of resigning himself.

I’m sure there’s nothing new here, I’m sure it isn’t the complete picture, and I’m sure it isn’t only happening in Britain. I think there’s just a bit of crumbling going on, and maybe now people will begin exercising a little circumspection with regard to the amount of faith they implicitly place in Establishment figures.
