The Alternative.

Over the last thirty two months I’ve made 3,240 blog posts. That’s a nice tidy average of around one hundred posts per month. And if we assume an average of around two hundred words per post, that’s the equivalent of four long novels. I wonder why I didn’t just write four long novels.

Good for you Jeff in keeping all of us amused. I think blog posts are a wonderful way to satisfy our writing urges sometimes over a novel because expectations seem to get in the way. I've never attempted to write a novel but that would be the hardest aspect for me. Thanks for being so prolific.

Why, thank you, Wendy. You do realise, don't you, that it's only because I've got nothing better to do between the mundane jobs. These days, I feel like a frog sitting by the roadside, waiting for a kind princess to come along. The blog is just the sound of me croaking.

Croak away, you're doing a good job. And really blogging for all of us can be a bit utilitarian and mundane. You're not alone.

...and blogging is the nearest I've got to a focus at the moment. Sad, eh?
