Approaching Equinox.

I was just listening to Luke Kelly singing Raglan Road again. I haven’t heard it in months – but then, it isn’t exactly a summer song. It reminded me that it will soon be time to resume the night walks in earnest. I miss the moons, the mists and the meteor showers, not to mention the mysterious noises and the shadows that pass me on the road.

Maybe I should leave it until winter grips the lanes with its icy hand and there’s a coal fire to come home to. And I’ll need a new route now that my own Raglan Road has paled and become pointless.

Moods are funny things. They completely change your view on what’s normal and what isn’t.
