A Family Encounter.

I bumped into the Shire’s top family today (the only one worthy of note, as far as I can tell.) That’s the Lady B, the Lady B’s venerable mama, venerable mama’s gentleman companion (!), and the Lady B’s sister, the Lady R. Best of all, though, they were accompanied by the princesses (forget the Duchess of Cambridge’s effort) of whom much fuss was made and duly reciprocated. That’s the two Cocker Spaniels, Inca and Ivy. I got them confused, the shame of which will take a long time to live down.
