Defying the Chief Whip's Office.

I caught a bit of an old favourite sitcom tonight. It was called Waiting for God, and was set in a retirement home. The few minutes I saw included the irascible, free thinking and fiercely independent Diana saying:

‘I’ve always spoken my mind, always spent my money, and never had a family. In consequence, I have no friends, no cash and no support.’

Well, there you are, then. That’s what you get for not toeing the one-party line. Serves you right. Here endeth the lesson.
