Warning: Religion Again.

I watched a TV drama tonight, and then I looked at the news. One theme happened to be common to both: the spectacle of religious fervour bringing death and destruction to the lives of decent people.

I’ve said before that I don’t believe in evil as an objective force, but as a relative concept pertaining to a lack of good. The relationship is the same as that of darkness to light. And by that definition, I have to say that I think religion runs money a close second as the root of all evil.
