Thwarted by Google.

You know what’s really annoying? Ever since Google took over YouTube, the ‘reply’ button disappears from comments that are over a year old. So what do you do if you want to reply to a comment that was posted 13 months ago? Seethe, because you can’t. Here’s an example:

I just listened to Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on Greensleeves, and somebody left a comment which said:

‘Why do I feel as though I’m drifting away on a soft wind whenever I hear this?’

I wanted to reply…

‘Maybe it was something you ate?’

It made me smile, but I was thwarted because there was no ‘reply’ button, and being thwarted in mid smile isn’t funny.
