I gather there’s a perigee moon tonight. I just went out to
take a look, but there’s too much cloud at the moment. She’s in the right place
to peer through my bedroom window, though, so maybe later.
‘Perigee’ is not a nice word. It doesn’t suit Mistress Moon
at all.

I like perigee. Its better than 'Super Moon,' which is what i've been seeing it referred as online for days.
This is the best full moon of the year; its in Scorpio :)

But perigee sounds like something you'd eat. I agree, it's better than Super Moon.
If the sky's clear tomorrow night, I might take that walk to the churchyard.
