Because the flag counter gives a visit-by-country number more or less in real time. Every night the UK number goes up, usually some time between 1-1.30. Whoever it is never leaves a comment, so I don't know who it is. Mystery! Am out all day today. Will drop in on your blog later. Greetings, Jen.
