The first night I went to bed there, I turned off the light
and was startled to see how intensely dark the room was. Pitch black; couldn’t
see my hand in front of my face. It felt intensely cold, too; and then I had
the strongest feeling that there was something disembodied and unfriendly in
the room with me. It wasn’t very nice.
I do hope nobody reads this just before retiring.
