Harold's Lost Legacy.

Recently I’ve been watching a series of vlogs made by a Danish woman, and it got me thinking.

From what I’ve read, historians tend to speculate that if the English had won the Battle of Hastings we would never have become embroiled in the West/South European power struggle thing, but would instead have remained closer to the Scandinavian world.

Just think what that would have meant. Instead of being the cradle of the Industrial Revolution, we would simply have invented the sauna and the world would be a much nicer place.
