A Tiny Post.

Mel said to me today:

'Somebody, somewhere in the world, is making bullets.'

They're probably in the US though.

I didn't explain the context because I thought that the statement was somehow stronger on its own.

The fact is, Mel has even more difficulty comprehending the darker and more destructive side of the human condition than I do, and we were talking about the film 'Samsara' which is a 2 hour examination of the human condition told in a series of loosely related images. One of those images shows the production of bullets, and Mel finds it quite inconceivable that anybody would spend time and effort making something, the sole purpose of which is to kill.

And I suppose you're right. Although America doesn't have the monopoly on the manufacture of bullets, I expect more are made there than anywhere else.
