Pleasing the Plants.

I discovered today that roses are grumpy.

I spent an hour and forty minutes hosing the garden, and everything looked mighty pleased. Except the roses.

‘What took you so long?’ they asked. ‘Where’ve you been? Don’t leave it this long again.’

It isn’t easy being sensitive to the feelings of plants.

Funny. I was just thinking last night about a pitcher plant i had and how she felt more like a pet to me than a house plant. I think it was because i knew she 'ate' bugs and was always making sure she was 'well fed.' Her name was Nyi Roro Kidul after the Javanese Goddess/"Queen of the South Sea"

My word verification has a plainly written real word, too Leaders: colon included.

'Audrey' would have been easier.

Yes, I've noticed that about the verification letters. I still think 'obscurity' was oddly appropriate,
