Merryless May.

The young leaves on some of the herbaceous plants got frostbitten last night. Whole swathes of small green leaves are now whole swathes of small black ones. And tonight feels even colder. I wore my gloves when I went for a walk, and my hands were still cold.

It is May, isn’t it?

This month’s full moon is also very late rising. She was missing tonight, so I was mistressless.

Word says that isn’t a word. It is now.
