A foetus grows for nine months through a process of
increasing awareness, and does so completely in the dark. And then it’s
suddenly catapulted into the bright light of the delivery room. Doesn’t that
scare the poor kid witless, and doesn’t the shock have a lifelong effect on its
emotional development?
Has anybody ever studied this?
