It’s clearly a celebration of the budding and blooming
maiden archetype, along with an evocation of the road of life and the process of
passing. (It was recorded shortly after a young woman friend of hers died.) What
really fascinates me is the image at 1.40. If that isn’t latent feminine power
just waiting for time to provide the opportunity to break a few men’s hearts
and spirits, I don’t know what is.

Waiting to Conquer.
This is a rendition of the Rolling Stones classic, Ruby Tuesday, performed by an American
musician with whom I had some correspondence once. It’s a very soft, somewhat
ethereal version which I find likeable, though not spectacular. What interests
me more is her choice of pictures in the video collage.
