The Problem with Clubs.

There are two reasons why I don’t join clubs:

They’re too riddled with people who are either earnest or egotistical or both. One is stained with artifice, the other with notions of superiority.

The whole point of clubs is to connect with people who have interests in common, and that doesn’t work for me. To me, connection is about chemistry; shared interests are usually irrelevant.
