Not Raising Lazarus.

You know, that ‘Snake’ song I posted a couple of nights ago continues to hold my attention quite remarkably. It’s the combination of the music and those eyes; between them, they’re definitely in the High Romantic tradition. And where would we be without the High Romantic tradition? No Grail quest. What would be the point?

And you know who the face in the picture reminds me of, don’t you? No, of course you don’t, and I suppose I shouldn’t say. There are signs that the old CFS is lifting, and it would be better to let Lazarus lie.

I’m talking too much. It’s these damn mood swings – can’t get rid of them.

Always so cryptic. That's part of what I like about you.

How on earth do I respond to that, Mistress S, except to say thank you and I'm so glad there's something to like? I always think it must be an irritating tendency.

Your absence, relatively speaking, has been noticed of late. That isn't a complaint; I just hope you're well. High awareness is a rare quality.

Oh, do keep calling me "Mistress S." It sounds very fancy and a little mysterious.

In some people and under some conditions, it *is* an annoying tendency. That is, when folks are cryptic because they're fishing for attention. When they want people to question them. Not because they're naturally private.

I'm well. Tired from work and the intense heat this month has brought. But happy and relaxed.

Glad to hear it. I'm curious to know whether the whole family has moved back to the US, or just you.

And thanks for the comment on the other post which I've now taken down. Nothing to do with you, I just felt it was a bit TMI. Sometimes I let my guard down too much.

I think the problem with not seeing pics and videos is due to the fact that you use a cellphone. Settings tell me that mobiles are disabled, but it seems that to enable them, I'd need to re-set the template. My old simple one isn't available.

It's all of us. My parents, sister, and of course, yours truly.

No worries. I completely understand.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I rarely turn on my computer anymore, except when I have serious work to do.

Do you have an email address you might like to give me? We could call that virtual space Greenland...

My favourite coffee shop in Greenland is called jeffrey.beazley@googlemail.com. I call in most days. Don't believe the bartender if he tells you I've left the island, though. Sometimes I hide.
