So, I don’t want feeding any rubbish about filtration
through atmospheric gasses, spectral separation by water vapour, or variations in refractive indexes. What I want to know is: who painted it?

I thought of something interesting to say on the subject of
perception earlier, but I’ve forgotten what it was. Noting the fact that rain
kisses some people but spits on others will have to do.

I read earlier that Mr Putin has admitted that he’d been
planning the annexation of Crimea long before
the referendum. Is this true? If so, it raises an interesting question: Should
Bhutan replace Russia
as a permanent member of the UN Security Council? (I’ve long had a soft spot
for Bhutan,
ever since I read that the king had banned TVs because they were a bad
influence. I’ve also sat in that big circular chamber in the UN building, the
place where mature, refined statesmen shake their fists and shout ‘Niet!’ and ‘Non!’
and ‘Up yours, you c****e b*****d!’)

She sort of asks the same question. Have I recommended this song before? If so, I'm unapologetic, because it's just that good. I've been listening to it for the past ten years, and it never loses its magic.
Do you have certain music you enjoy for different seasons? Enya is almost exclusively my winter/very early spring music.
My full blown spring music...you mightn't like.
My choice of music does seem to go in cycles, but I can't say I've noticed any specific correlation with the seasons. It does make sense, though, since the seasons influence our moods, and moods influence what we want to listen to.
I haven't played your piece yet, since my bandwidth isn't unrestricted until after midnight.
Am I to assume that the vernal equinox transforms you into a heavy metal freak?
I hadn’t heard this one. Nice. I’ll give it several listens to see whether I share your good opinion.
I blow hot and cold on Enya. Some of her stuff I really like – Smaointe is my all time favourite, but Caribbean Blue, China Roses, and The River Sings also come readily to mind. But I do think some of her later stuff is soggy.
My spring stuff is admittedly a little esoteric. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oPw3obDVHiY
I think both she and her voice are beautiful. And her banjo skills! Ugh.
Also, this fella: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fJfhaayOAy0
I can't abide by most of Enya's later music. Something must happen to you when you live alone, in a castle, with a flock of cats.
You had me worried there, Mistress S. I thought you were going to turn out to be a committed head banger after all.
I love this kind of banjo music - strikes me as a white sister's answer to blues. I assume you're aware of Sarah Jarosz.
I am no, actually. I'll certainly check this name sister out. Thank you!
