Merry and Eowyn are sitting astride Eowyn's horse, about to rush headlong into battle with everybody crying DEATH!!! very loudly. The little hobbit is cradled in the lady's arms, looking terrified, until she says
'Courage, Merry. I'll take care of you.'
At which point he smirks. Yeah, I'll bet...

Now there's an innocent moment torn up and put back together in an entirely different way.
Didn't look very innocent to me. Maybe it takes a hobbit to know a hobbit. But then there's that look which Galadriel gives to Frodo just before they set sail. Pure filth!
