1. The price of Natural Selection 100g packs of high quality cashew nuts
in Boots the Chemist is £1.60, but I make it my business to know that B&M
sells the same product for 89p.
2. Coincidentally, 89p is also what B&M charges for 330ml
bottles of Guinness Foreign Extra, a beer so strong that a 330ml bottle contains
roughly the same amount of alcohol as you get in 500ml bottles of other premium
beers. Such beers routinely cost around £2 in the supermarkets.
Such an advanced skill as this means that you don’t have to
live like a pauper, even though you are one. You can get fat and trash your
liver almost to your heart’s content.
