What surprised me was that most news reports called it a
tornado. Tornadoes and typhoons are completely different phenomena, so which is
it? The media are really crap, aren’t
they? Bastions of slackness and ignorance.
Fortunately, both typhoons and tornadoes are rather less
destructive than Rupert Murdoch, who controls large swathes of the media. I
hope his Rolls was going backwards.
