An Apposite Voice.

I noticed recently that somebody came onto the blog apparently seeking all posts with the word ‘apposite’ in the title. I’ve no idea why, but I thought I’d do another one.

I’m tempted to suggest that Susan McKeown’s voice had it’s genesis in a dank, dark place where good things are distilled from vats of the very best molasses. Alternatively, and less pretentiously, it might be more apposite to say that it’s just pure Guinness. She was born in Dublin.
